Solar Farms in Abuja

For sites needing generation capacity beyond what a rooftop array can provide, we engineer ground-mounted solar farm installations, bringing site civil works, array engineering, and grid or hybrid interconnection together into one scope, with one team accountable for all of it.

What this service solves

Who it’s for

  • Estates and industrial parks needing generation beyond rooftop scale
  • Institutional campuses consolidating power generation on-site
  • Large sites requiring phased solar deployment across a build programme
Engineering scope

What’s included

  • Ground-mount array design and civil works
  • Multi-inverter system integration
  • Site security and perimeter infrastructure
  • SCADA-ready monitoring architecture
  • Phased deployment for large-scale sites
Technical considerations
  • Array layout and civil works engineered together
  • Interconnection (grid-tie, hybrid, or off-grid) specified against the site’s actual supply arrangement
  • Remote monitoring built in from day one
— Our process

How we scope, install, and hand over the work

Step 01:

Assess

Site survey, load assessment, and diagnostics. We measure the actual conditions before proposing a scope.

Step 02:

Design

A written design based on the assessed load: circuit schedules and single-line diagrams you keep.

Step 03:

Install

Work executed by our team to the documented design, with safety isolation and site protocols observed throughout.

Step 04:

Test & Handover

Commissioning tests, compliance checks, and as-built documentation handed over. Not just a completed job, a documented one.

— Documentation

What you may receive

For solar farms, depending on the project and the agreed scope. We provide documentation appropriate to the size and complexity of the job.

  • Load Assessment & Schedules

Connected loads, estimated demand, circuit schedules, distribution requirements, and existing versus proposed loads, giving a clearer basis for design and upgrade decisions.

  • Solar & Backup System Design

Load assessment, system sizing, array configuration, inverter selection, battery capacity, and backup expectations.

  • Testing

Test results recorded before handover, plus as-built information and solar/backup handover information where produced.

Common questions

View all FAQs →
Do you sell solar panels, or only install them?

Both. We supply solar panels, batteries and inverters, and we do the installation and commissioning ourselves. We still run a load assessment before recommending or supplying equipment, because the right panel count and battery capacity depend on your actual consumption.

How much does house rewiring cost in Abuja?

It depends on the property's size, current wiring condition, and how many circuits, sockets, and fixtures are involved. Rewiring a two-bedroom flat and a multi-storey house aren't comparable jobs. We don't quote a number without a site visit, since guessing risks under- or over-pricing the actual scope. Request a quote and we'll assess the property directly.

What do hybrid inverter systems cost in Nigeria?

Hybrid inverter and battery system pricing depends on inverter capacity, battery chemistry and bank size, and whether it's a backup-only setup or one designed to carry most of your daily load (see our guide on sizing a hybrid inverter system for why that distinction matters). We size and quote from a real load assessment.

How much does smart home automation cost?

It scales with scope. A few automated lighting circuits costs far less than whole-property lighting, climate, and access control on one platform. Retrofitting an existing property also typically costs more than wiring automation into a new build from the start. We scope and quote after understanding what you actually want to control.

Kell Electricals did an outstanding job at my Gwarinpa home! They professionally installed my inverter and solar panels, set up my CCTV system, and replaced my home's switches, all of which are working perfectly. Their team was incredibly professional, and their work was remarkably clean and precise. For top-notch electrical services, I highly recommend Kell Electricals!
