An active electrical hazard doesn't wait for a scheduled callout
For sparking, burning smells, exposed wiring, or a total power loss, call or message us now. WhatsApp and DM replies are available around the clock. We are not currently offering 24/7 emergency call-outs.

A dedicated emergency phone line
Electrical faults that pose a safety or business-continuity risk get priority dispatch, subject to technician availability and the nature of the fault. WhatsApp and DM replies are available around the clock; we are not currently offering 24/7 emergency call-outs. This isn't a general contact line. It's a dedicated emergency response service for genuine electrical hazards and critical outages.
What counts as an electrical emergency
Homes, businesses, and industrial sites
Residential
Homes wired for Nigeria’s real grid conditions, for years after the inspection.
Commercial
Offices and retail fit-outs, where an electrical fault costs you trading hours.
Industrial
Factory and plant electrical infrastructure where downtime is measured in lost production.
Hospitality
Hotels, restaurants, and event venues where guests never see the electrical system, only whether it works.
Education
Schools and training facilities where a power failure stops lessons.
Healthcare
Clinics and healthcare facilities where backup power isn’t a convenience, it’s a patient-safety requirement.
Retail
Shops and showrooms where lighting quality and uptime directly affect the customer walking through the door.
Banking & Finance
Bank branches and financial institutions where a power fault stops transactions.
Telecommunications
Telecom infrastructure sites where an outage doesn’t just cost one building, it cost everyone connected to it.
Oil & Gas
Energy sector facilities where electrical faults carry safety stakes well beyond the immediate equipment.
Manufacturing
Factories and industrial plants where unplanned electrical downtime can stop the whole production line.
Scope of work
- Priority dispatch for genuine hazards
- On-site fault diagnosis
- Temporary safe isolation where required
- Permanent repair or scoped follow-up work
How this work comes together
Priority dispatch
Call or message triaged and, where an on-site visit is needed, a technician dispatched, subject to availability.
On-site diagnosis
Fault identified on site, where it can actually be tested.
Safe isolation
Hazardous circuits or equipment isolated immediately where required, to make the site safe first.
Repair or follow-up
Permanent repair carried out on the spot, or scoped as follow-up work where the fix needs more than an emergency callout allows.
From call to safe again
Four steps, in order. Safety comes first, the repair comes second.
Call or WhatsApp
Reach us on +234 814 020 5895 or WhatsApp. For anything involving fire, smoke, or shock risk, call the fire service first if needed, then us.
Safety triage
We walk you through immediate safety steps over the phone if needed - switching off the main supply, keeping clear of the affected area, not touching exposed conductors.
Dispatch & diagnosis
Where an on-site visit is needed, a technician is dispatched to diagnose the fault, subject to availability.
Repair or safe isolation
Where a full repair can be completed safely on the spot, it is. Where the fix requires parts or scoped follow-up work, the area is made safe first and a repair is scheduled.
Fire, smoke or shock risk? Call the fire service first if needed, then us.
Call +234 814 020 5895What to know before we arrive
Isolate the power. Leave the investigating to us.
A tripped breaker or blown fuse is a protective device doing its job - repeatedly resetting it without diagnosing the cause risks re-energizing a fault. Isolating the circuit (or the main supply, if the fault location isn't obvious) and waiting for a technician is safer than testing it yourself.
Burning smells don’t always trace to the obvious source
Heat and smell can travel along cable runs and through wall cavities, so the smell’s location isn’t always the fault’s location. Finding it properly takes thermal and circuit testing. Looking around isn’t enough.
Water and electricity: isolate before you approach
Flooding or a roof leak near electrical equipment is treated as live until proven otherwise. Do not enter standing water near a panel or outlet, and isolate supply at the main switch if it can be reached safely.
Common questions
Do you offer 24/7 emergency call-outs?
We are not currently offering 24/7 emergency call-outs. WhatsApp and DM replies are available around the clock, so message us at any hour. For active hazards (sparking, burning smell, exposed live wiring), switch off at the main supply if it is safe to do so and contact us right away at +234 814 020 5895 rather than submitting the contact form.
What counts as an electrical emergency?
Active hazards: sparking, a burning smell, exposed live wiring, or total power loss affecting safety-critical equipment. Recurring tripped breakers or a warm panel cover are worth calling about too, even if not urgent the same hour.
Is there an emergency contact outside business hours?
WhatsApp and DM replies are available around the clock, so you can reach us outside business hours on WhatsApp or by DM. You can also email emergency@kellelectricals.com. We are not currently offering 24/7 emergency call-outs.
