Oil & Gas Electrical Services in Abuja

Oil and gas facilities demand electrical infrastructure engineered to the same conservative standard as any critical industrial site, with correct earthing, protection coordination, and documented testing treated as non-negotiable. We design and maintain power distribution and backup systems for facilities where a fault is a safety problem as well as a production one.

Problems we solve

What we plan for on oil & gas properties

Power distribution and protection engineered for continuous, heavy-duty operation
Earthing and lightning protection sized to the site’s actual risk, above the compliance minimum
Scheduled maintenance and testing that catches faults before they become failures
Backup power sized against the measured critical load
Services included

Emergency Electrical Response

Priority handling of faults, outages, and safety hazards that can’t wait for a scheduled callout.

— Our process

Assess, design, install, test & handover

Step 01:

Assess

Site survey, load assessment, and diagnostics. We measure the actual conditions before proposing a scope.

Step 02:

Design

A written design based on the assessed load: circuit schedules and single-line diagrams you keep.

Step 03:

Install

Work executed by our team to the documented design, with safety isolation and site protocols observed throughout.

Step 04:

Test & Handover

Commissioning tests, compliance checks, and as-built documentation handed over. Not just a completed job, a documented one.

What services does Kell Electricals provide?

A full range of electrical engineering services: wiring and installation, panel repair and upgrades, solar and hybrid inverter systems, home automation, CCTV and security, generator installation and maintenance, industrial electrical systems, and scheduled preventive maintenance. The full list is on our Services page.

Do you offer ongoing maintenance, or only one-off jobs?

Both. We handle one-off installation and repair work, and we run the Kell AssetCare Programme: scheduled maintenance in four tiers (Essential, Professional, Advanced, Enterprise) with an asset register and a written report after every visit. See the Maintenance & AMC page for details; pricing is confirmed in your proposal.

Do you work on both residential and commercial projects?

Yes, and industrial too. Scope, documentation, and compliance requirements differ by property type, which is why we treat residential, commercial, and industrial work as distinct engineering problems rather than the same job at different sizes.

Can you work alongside my architect or contractor on a fit-out?

Yes. Commercial and office fit-out electrical work is a regular part of our scope, coordinated with architects, M&E consultants and the wider construction timeline.

Do you have examples of completed commercial electrical work?

Yes. For example, we delivered the complete electrical decking, conduit piping, wiring, and fixture installation and finishing for a cooperative society's building in Garki II, Abuja. See our Projects page for more recent work across residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

How much does house rewiring cost in Abuja?

It depends on the property's size, current wiring condition, and how many circuits, sockets, and fixtures are involved. Rewiring a two-bedroom flat and a multi-storey house aren't comparable jobs. We don't quote a number without a site visit, since guessing risks under- or over-pricing the actual scope. Request a quote and we'll assess the property directly.

What do hybrid inverter systems cost in Nigeria?

Hybrid inverter and battery system pricing depends on inverter capacity, battery chemistry and bank size, and whether it's a backup-only setup or one designed to carry most of your daily load (see our guide on sizing a hybrid inverter system for why that distinction matters). We size and quote from a real load assessment.

How much does smart home automation cost?

It scales with scope. A few automated lighting circuits costs far less than whole-property lighting, climate, and access control on one platform. Retrofitting an existing property also typically costs more than wiring automation into a new build from the start. We scope and quote after understanding what you actually want to control.
